Independent Films

We Are Not Alone

This film follows the somber nature of the first few weeks of quarantine. I was overwhelmed by the melancholy and desolation of my community, and felt compelled to document the moment.

High Spirits

USC film I directed, produced, and edited.

Unemployed siblings Kelsey and Sam, desperate to escape their mom’s house and endless job rejections, launch a quirky lemonade stand that unexpectedly takes off—though their surprising success hides an unusual twist.

Girls Support Girls

USC film I produced.

Elise has a date for the Pike mixer! He’s cute, but she thinks he’s out of her league—Pearl, Rhea, and Jenny are determined to make her know how beautiful she is, Jenny violently so. As Jenny’s compliments grow more aggressive, the cutesy slumber party descends into chaos.

Image Kills

In this film, I utilized underwater shots to follow a drowned ex-Hollywood starlet. The film’s opacity overlays were meant to represent her claustrophobia in an inherently judgemental industry. Overwhelmed with the need to upkeep her self-image, the water, as well as the mirror she looks into, provided an air of self-reflection.

Journals of an Insomniac

This film follows two insomniacs who mysteriously collide in the dead of night. The object of the piece was to portray messy romantic relationships.

Mayday

This film took place over one continuous day in quarantine, followed by a montage of rapidly passing months. The object of the film was to convey a feeling of student isolation, monotony, and burn-out in today’s climate.

I Am You.

In this film, I followed a young girl as she communicated with a mysterious entity through a mirror. She repeatedly asked the mirror who was on the other side, but the mirror refused to entertain her requests. However, it was later revealed that it was her own self-deprecation which was holding her back all along.

a sENSE OF HOME

A Sense of Home is a charitable organization which strives to prevent homelessness by creating first-ever homes for youth aging out of foster care with donated furniture and home goods.
